How is the Guide Sleeve material generally selected?

1. Tool steel: Such as SKD11, SKH51, SKD61, etc., this type of steel has high hardness and wear resistance, suitable for most conventional mold guiding system, able to withstand high loads and long working hours.

2. Stainless steel: Such as 304, 316, etc. Stainless steel guide bushings have good corrosion resistance and certain abrasion resistance, suitable for wet or corrosive environments, and can ensure the guiding accuracy and prolong the service life.

3. Tungsten carbide: Such as tungsten-cobalt alloy, tungsten carbide has very high hardness and wear resistance, suitable for high precision, high load, high speed guidance needs, but the cost is relatively high.

4. Bronze: Bronze material has good self-lubrication and wear resistance, suitable for the need for self-lubrication or low friction guiding occasions, such as precision molds or high-speed stamping die.

5. polymer materials: POM, PTFE, etc., such materials have a low coefficient of friction and self-lubricating properties, suitable for light loads, low-speed or the need to reduce the maintenance of the guidance system.

6. Aluminum alloy: Aluminum alloy guide bushings are lightweight and have good thermal conductivity, suitable for occasions with special requirements for weight and thermal conductivity, but their wear resistance is relatively poor.
